// Heirloom Silver//

No two ways about it: Silver is a Southern classic. And giving silver as an annual Christmas present is useful, she says, because “silver isn’t given much as a wedding present anymore.” - Southern Living Home

I must say, I agree with Southern Living Home; Silver is often forgotten about by brides when registering. It is often dismissed by friends and family when purchasing gifts for brides. Macy’s, for example, does not even carry sterling silver in store any longer. Brides can only register for silver online. How sad that such a traditional heirloom has been dumped from the shelves. I suppose better selling items with higher profit margins such as christmas ornaments, bath mats, and chia pets take high precedence in the retail world. Sigh

As a southern and “old-fashioned” bride, I will be sticking with tradition for now and registering for my sterling silver online. I will host dinner parties with my old faithful beauties for years and eventually pass them along to my daughter in hopes she will someday do the same.

// Personalized Touch//

Branch out from the Waterford crystal champagne glasses. Engrave pewter or sterling silver glasses for your first toast as husband and wife.

Engraved ceramic is soft, beautiful, and non obtrusive. It will blend in perfectly with your bouquet and remind you in the future of your perfect day!

Monogram or hand embroider you name/wedding date into your wedding dress. It truly makes it your own. For a something blue, choose a blue stitching - a delicate and special touch.

Monogram or hand embroider a sash on brides maids bouquets. Bridesmaids will feel special having their own personalized bouquet. Monogramed sashes can be used as a bookmark to remember your special day.

// 6 of Four Photography…A Day To Remember//

Capturing true emotion at special events is important. 6 of Four Photography is famous for capturing their clients most special moments together.

This is beautiful cake. 6 of Four Photography did an outstanding job of capturing the delicate and perfect detailing. An skilled pastry chefs created this masterpiece. I would be proud to frame this photo.

Pictures are a cherished element of the wedding process for a number of reasons. I’ve often heard couple remark that their wedding day went by so fast. I’ve heard people say they wish they could remember certain parts. Many couples forget special moments shared between each other the day of the event and are overjoyed to remember bits and pieces of the by looking back at pictures.

Choose a photographer that has a photography style you like. Do not try and change the way your photographer takes pictures. My grandfather always said, “You can’t make chicken salad out of chicken sh** (pardon my french).” But, it is so true and something we all need to remember. It is what it is people. People are creature of habit and not found of changing. Therefore, for best results, identify the style of photography you like, then choose a photographer within your budget that photographs along the same lines.
